Abstract
The main idea is to find out how forest sector related financial policy instruments are handled in different countries. Besides looking at the intervention costs, this study will also assess the effectiveness, efficiency and equity of alternative public financing programs. This will concern the economic, social and ecological effects in public and private forests.
