Set up of an ecological vision for the land-use planning project Brugse Veldzone (run by the Flemish land Agency and with support of the Flemish administration for nature and the environment AMINAL). The general goal is to counter the effects of habitat fragmentation in ecologically important areas, the maintenance of an ecological environmental quality and the creation of a functional ecological network in the Bruges area. A description of actual natural quality, setting out targets for biodiversity conservation, identifying bottlenecks for policy makers and stakeholders and prioritizing measures to be taken are part of this study.
