Abstract

The objective of this project is to quantify and to model the spatial and temporal variabilities of foliar litter processes, i.e. litterfall and decomposition processes, in oak–beech stands. Fluxes and processes are studied in relation to the characteristics of the local environment (units made of three adjacent trees, contribution of individual trees within a given area).
