Abstract
In a coastal dune area (between Dunkerque (France) and Lombardsijde (Flanders) the following issues are studied: 1. Habitat and diet selection of several domesticated herbivores (cattle, equids, sheep) and wild herbivores (rabbit), 2) effects of these herbivores on flora, vegetation, fauna and biotic and abiotic processes and 3) endo- and ectozoochory and invertebrate life in herbivore dung.
