Abstract
The development of social and economical assessment criteria to determine in an objective way the cost of degradation of the marine environment under Belgian jurisdiction. The development and evaluation of measures to be taken by the Belgian government to guarantee a sustainable use of the North Sea. The development of technical and legal procedures allowing to evaluate the degradation of the marine environment and to recover this degradation financially on the polluter.
