The project aims at unravelling the factors responsible for an enhanced P-availability in strongly weathered soils observed in legume-cereal rotations. To this end, an improved method will be required, based on isotopic dilution of 32P in combina- tion with ion exchange resin membranes. A better understanding of the functioning of these rotations will lead to better combina- tions of crops and a more sustainable production.
