Abstract

The project focuses on - the potential use of Carica (Papaya) local diversity for new varieties development and alternative uses (phytopathology, papain) - the potential of Cherimoya (Annona cherimola Mill.) local diversity for the development of new varieties This research is done in collaboration with the Centro Andino de Tecnologia Rural (CATER), Universidad Nacional de Loja, Ecuador.
