Abstract

Characterization of the algal biodiversity at the beginning of the food chain by means of new molecular tools The molecular diversity of picophytoplankton (Synechococcus spp. and picoeukaryotes) of four regions of the Southern Ocean was studied on the basis of 16S rDNA sequences.
