The project aims at a correct budgeting of C-fluxes between soil and atmosphere. Existing models of C-dynamics will be improved by incorporating process knowledge on aggregate dynamics and its impact on C-sequestration. Then, these models will be linked with models on redistribution of soil particles at the surface due to erosion phenomena. The coupling between the two fields of expertise will lead to better predictions of the C-dynamics at the scale of a watershed.
