Abstract

Several theoretical ecological models try to explain the occurence of the almost universal relationship between distribution and abundance of plant species (sampling artefact, resource availability, metapopulation dynamics). The aim of the project is to test the relative importance of the different explanation models on different scale levels in plant communities.
