Abstract

Gelatine is an animal protein with a lot of industrial applications. However, gelating may be contaminated by certain Bacillus strains with a negative effect on the quality of the product. The purpose of this project is to set up a fast and sensitive detection method by means of a PCR-probe-system. Therefore isolation and polyphasic characterisation of the contaminants has to done first.
