Abstract
To get more insight in the influence of air pollution on the vitality of European forests, a European research program was started according to guidelines defined in 'International Cooperative Program on Assessment and Monitoring of air Pollution Effects on Forests in the ECE-region (UNEP-UN/ECE)'.
