This project aims to achieve sustainable management of the soil-borne diseases by regulation and exploitation of the microbial diversity without causing degradation of environment and health problems so as to maintain the disease loss of rice and vegetables below the economic permitted level. A full understanding of BCA among microbial communities in the different cropping systems, the modes of antagonistic actions and formulation of BCA are the bases for successful management of the diseases.
