Abstract

The aim of the project is to collect nodules from indigenous legumes and to isolate and purify the responsible rhizobia; the collected rhizobia will be used for taxonomic studies and evaluated for nodulation and nitrogen fixation properties with common bean (phaseolus vulgaris l.).
