The objectives of the project are :1. To assess crop losses due to pathogenic bacteria associated with rice seed.2. To determine the bacterial populations on rice seed.3. To determine their interactions and their impact on disease management.4. Development of management techniques, as a component of IPM and rice germplasm movement and penetration.5. To establish international collaboration.
