In the dwarf spider Oedothorax gibbosus (Blackwall) there are two male morphs gibbosus, characterised by a hunch and a hairy groove on its carapace and tuberosus without these features. To develop a 'mixed Evolutionary Stable Strategy'-model following hypotheses shall be tested: the stronger attraction of gibbosus, the Q10 rule and a sex ratio distortion in favour of the female sex.
juvenile development, sexual selection, sex ratio distortion, male dimorphism, genetic inheritance, erigoninae, araneae, q10 rule
