The Ministry of the Walloon Region of Belgium has initiated in 1999 the first Belgian hydrogeological mapping program. This program involves four teams of three walloon universities : Liege, Namur and Mons. The departement of geology of the Namur University has already mappped 9 maps at the 1/25000 scale.
