Abstract

In consequence of the Kyoto protocol, Belgium has to realize a 7,5% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions during the period of 1990-2010, which will require a powerful multi-level policy with regard to emission reduction. The goal of this project is to examine the possibilities for the Flemisch policy of using forests and wood products, as substitutes for fossil fuels.
