We investigate the impacts of alien invasive plant species on ecosystem functioning. This comprises alterations of nutrient availability in the soil and mineral nutrient fluxes in the soil-plant system. Impacts on soil fauna are also being studied. Fallopia japonica, Senecio inaequidens and Solidago gigantea are our principal study cases.
