Abstract
The aim of this systematic-palynological project is to document the pollen morphological variation within the Rubiaceae and to use this variation to solve phylogenetic questions within Rubiaceae. TEM-studies of the ontogeny of pollen and orbicules of selected taxa will clarify their ultrastructure.
