Abstract

The principal aim of this project is to study the possible role of ribosome-inactivating proteins in the defence of plants against viruses, microorganisms and possibly also microparasites such as nematodes. Therefore transgenic plants expressing ribosome-inactivating proteins will be tested for resistance against viruses and microorganisms.
