Abstract

The main goal of this research is to develop a decision-making process applied to integrated forest management. This methodology is currently applied within the context of an integrated forest management project in Belgium. Throughout a software system, the framework concerns the construction and the evaluation by indicators of scenarios which aim at describing management alternatives according to silvicultural, ecological and socio-economical parameters. These scenarios are then ready to be used as objective arguments in the debates initiated by the participative process.
