Abstract

Two of the ichthyologists (J. Snoeks and M. Hanssens) currently working at the Museum were selected to participate in the international SADC/GEF project. This project was implemented by the World Bank through the Malawi Government as the representative of the riparian countries. Dr. J. Snoeks led the taxonomic component of the project during three years. The team produced a large report and several databases on the results from a lake-wide sampling program.
