The sinuate pear borer is a rare insect in our country, but has caused much damages in pear nurseries since some heat summers have succeeded. The adult stage, the only one to be controlled, is difficult to observe. Different kinds of trapping have been tried with poor results. The best way to know the time of treatment is to locate the flight holes.
