Abstract
This project comprises studies relating to different insect groups (ephemeroptera, isoptera, diptera, coleoptera). Their common purpose is to describe tegumentary structures with glandular, sensory or mechanical functions, and to investigate their functional relations to the environment in feeding, locomotion or defence
