An ecohyrological model will be developed which simulates changes in habitat conditions on a fysically-based manner and models the changes expected hereby in vegetation types based on ecofysiological knowledge. The research will focus on fielddata obtained at the nature reserve 'Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen'. Yet, data from several Flemish nature reserves with seepage faces will be used for validation of the development model.
