Abstract
In this study additional data on the historical presence of fishes, crayfish and otter in the province of Limburg will be gathered. Information on river management in Limburg will be retrieved as well. Information will be gathered by old anglers who have been fishing several rivers and rivulets in Limburg such as the Warmbeek, Zwarte Beek, Bosbeek, Ziepbeek. The historical data will be compared to the present situation. Conclusions on the historical reference situation will be drawn.
