The research group CMK of Hasselt University advises Ecorem in developing phytoremediating strategies for mine terrains originating from previous Cu ore-mining in Cyprus. They are terrains of which the soils are heavily contaminated by coctails of heavy metals. The advice is based (among on other things) on data supplied by third parties. If additional soil analyses are necessary, than they can be executed by Hasselt University. The possible additional analyses fall outside the terms of the agreement.
