The possibilities of fyto remediation of soluble and volatile compound such as BTEX, TCE and nitro-fenols are already proved in the recent past, but there are significant shortages in those theories. This research project wants to study the reduction of such contaminants during transport through plants by endofytical bacteries with metabole/catabole capacities that are complementary to the plant capacities itself.
