Abstract
The aim of this project is: - the analysis and localisation of the components who have a part in the signal transduction with cadmium exposure: cellular redox status and calcium signals - identification of cadmium specific gen regulation by means of microrarray-experiments - formulation and verification of the hypothesis on cadmium tolerance in Arabidopsis halleri, starting from the mechanisms on cadmium toxicity in Arabidopsis thaliana.
