Abstract
Study of the genetic variability of the western populations of the European mink (France, Spain). Comparison with eastern populations (Belarus, Russia, Romania). This work intends to give information to decision-makers about management of these threatened populations. The work is based on the comparison of mtDNA sequences (D-loop) as well as on study of the length polymorphism of microsatellite sequences.
