Abstract
The migration of some black storks nesting or staying in Belgium is studied with harness transmitters working by satellite retransmission. Migratory pathways ad halts as well as wintering areas are localised. Educational and Public awareness programmes has been initiated in African school to enhance the protection status of the stork.
