Abstract

Early land plants from Gondwana are still poorly known. Several Moroccan Lower Devonian localities have yielded abundant well preserved compression fossil floras. They are being investigated through different approaches: (1) systematics, (2) taphonomy, (3) palaeoecology, (4) palaeogeography, (5) biostratigraphy (spores and macroremains).
