Abstract

With the presence of the station STARESO, the Revellata Bay (Calvi, Corsica) is a model ecosystem for the central Mediterranean. Present researches deal with the biomass of benthic algae, their primary production and their role in the nitrogen and phosphorus cycles, and the factors determining their diversity and productivity.
