This work focuses on the influence of production technology and drying conditioning on the expression of xenobiotics catabolism by microorganisms selected for bioremediation. Many strains are able to degrade some petroleum derivatives, but little information exists about the persistance of the metabolic properties when these strains are produced and conditioned in bulk quantities or used in situ.
