Detection and identification du Beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV), Beet soil-borne pomovirus (BSBV) et du Beet virus Q pomovirus (BVQ), as well as their vector, Polymyxa betae, by multiplex RT-PCR. Quantitative competitive RT-PCR for the evaluation of resistance potential in sugar beet varieties. Evaluation of viral types and diversity in Belgium, as well as their host spectrum. Determination of virulence factors by directed mutagenesis.
