Abstract
The herbarium (LV) of the Institute of Botany and Microbiology is part of the Laboratory of Plant Systematics. Recently the Catholic University of Leuven donated this herbarium to the National Botanic Garden of Belgium (BR). Approximately 20000 specimens stayed in Leuven. This collection consists mainly of Belgian flowering plants and vouchers of the Laboratory of Plant Systematics.
