Only the orgunit (co-)leader has the right to edit his/her orgunit page. He/she can allow another member of the orgunit to edit the orgunit page by turning on this person's rights in the last column of the staff list. This person (who we call the editor) then acquires the same rights as the (co)leader. If you cannot edit your orgunit page, it probably means that you were not given the right to do so by the leader of your orgunit. If this is a problem for you, please contact him/her.
If you are an orgunit (co)leader, you can turn off the editing rights of the other orgunit members by ticking the 'restricted access' button. This way, only the orgunit (co-)leaders have the rights to edit your orgunit page. After that, you still can select one or more editor(s) for your orgunit by turning on their rights individually. Note that if the 'restricted access' button is ticked, any new member joining your orgunit will not receive the editing rights. If the 'restricted access' button is not ticked, any new member will receive the rights.
To be able to choose the 'leader' or 'co-leader' status from the list of roles, you need to have the right to edit your orgunit page (= to be an editor). To obtain this right, please ask the current orgunit (co-)leader to turn on your rights. The right status can be checked on the right hand side of the staff table.

Orgunits are created from their parent orgunit page. If you have the right to edit the parent orgunit page, then you can create an orgunit via the 'Subunits'-section of the parent orgunit. If you don't have the right to edit the parent orgunit page, then you should contact the orgunit leader, or the Platform.
Only editors can edit a page. Orgunit (co-)leaders, project (co-)promoters are editors by default and always keep the right to edit their orgunit/project pages. They can allow another member of their orgunit/project to become an editor by turning on this person's right in the last column of the staff list. If you want to become an editor, please contact the orgunit (co-)leader or project (co-)promoter of the orgunit/project and ask him/her to turn on your editing right.
Only people who have the right to edit the orgunit/project page (the editors) can choose the '(co-leader)' or '(co-)promotor' status from the list of roles. To obtain this right, please ask the current (co-)leader or (co-)promoter to turn on your rights. The right status can be checked on the right hand side of the staff table.

as projects title and abstract in French, Dutch and
German.

In select boxes you can choose more than one item by holding down the CTRL-key ( for Mac), and clicking the items one by one. Deselecting works the same way: hold down the CTRL-key and click the selected items you want to deselect. You can also use the SHIFT-key to select successive items.
This is because the search is performed on the full text of the object description. In this particular case, your name probably appears (as such or included in another word, e.g. Franklin in Frankliniella occidentalis) in the abstract, publication list,... of the project.
