Abstract

The objective of the project is to assess the ability of selected native and recombinant helminth proteases to protect sheep and cattle against the co-infecting nematode species Haemonchun contortus and Teladorsagia cirsumcincta in sheep and Ostertagia ostertagi in cattle, which are known to express homologous enzymes. In addition, the humoral and cellular immune responses stimulated by vaccination will be evaluated.
